…this mOnth was pretty focused around making these mOOnMAPS. After spending the fall trying to figure out how to complete some projects, dive into learning opportunities i’ve been craving, keep up with the dOgs AND connect with all the people i lOve….
i wanted to create a guide on how the mOOn inspires us to mOve, teaches about prOcess with patience and invites us to be present with both the light and the shadOws.
a simple check in on the journey to confirm WE ARE HERE wandering these PHASES tOgether🌀
Exploring the pace in between reflectiOns inspired these MAPs that lead to all of the MAGICs i have found while mOving with the rhythm of the moon.
2 designs came to life:

a blank scrOll for nOtes, affirmations, sketches, lOveletters
a LEGEND as a key to each MAP design
a little labradorite for LUCK while wandering

✨i probably spend 1-2 hours with each MAP
✨it took a while & a lot of patience creating the stencils of the mOOn’s predicted path thru 2026 while building an ONLINE EXPERIENCE to connect (mOOn MANTRA affirmatiOns, mOments of reflection &mini~mOvements for each PHASE).
✨cut from double gauze organic cottOn fabric. this light, timeless texture can be kept easy in a pOcket, is perfect for a pirate keeping stOries, easily referenced at sea or while wandering mountains. used as a guide, an altar for the treasures collected on any adventure OR hung it as a reminder to PRACTICE.
✨i paint only a few MAPS at a time. the chemical combo has to be done in a dark space aaaand TURNS EVERYTHING BLUE FOREVER if you are not careful.
✨the fabric has to be COMPLETELY dry before prOcessing (usally takes at least 1 day to be ready).
✨then IN A DARK SPACE the stencils, flOwers, treasures are placed and pressed before exposing to SUNlight
…for about 15 minutes.
✨the rinsing step is pretty important as the dye will continue to process if not clear.
✨ then, hung to dry flat in order to repeat the PAINT/DRY/PROCESS/RINSE again on the other side.
✨when the second side is complete the side lOOps ribbion are sewn in
✨the LEGEND, scrOlls & a treasure complete each guide before setting sail on the jOurney _ _ _ X

the mOments can really get away… 🌀 i am so grateful for the practices and daily grounding routines that keep me in flOw so I can step into each the season w/intention.
